About PDS
"PDS" was founded in 1955 and originally operated a wiping cloth
distribution and paper recycling business. Beginning in 1968, the company
started the concept of warehousing corrugated boxes for customers and delivering
the packaging on an as need basis. The idea arose when the company began selling
used and obsolete cartons acquired through its recycling operations. Natural
progression led to having cartons manufactured to meet customer specific demands.

community a portion of the benefits the Company has derived from it.
Vendors
Packaging Distribution Services uses approximately 10 vendors with Nationwide
manufacturing plants on a primary basis and approximately 25-50 other vendors on a specialty as-needed basis.
Given the particular product to be manufactured and warehoused, PDS's purchasing department will initiate
quotation forms with the vendors which were pre-selected due to their expertise in the particular product area
being quoted.
PDS is a significant customer to several of the Nationwide vendors mentioned above.
As a result, the Company has earned the necessary leverage to insure that our customers receive the most
favorable pricing, has the product manufactured on a timely basis, and that the highest level of quality was
used in the manufacturing process. Additionally, the Company's presence in the corrugated industry insures
that any product design issues are addressed immediately without delay.
